About

The book that changed my life...

Although it was a commencement speech before it was a book,  by David Foster Wallace is basically my bible. I've read and watched it hundreds of times—the overarching message always manages to put life into perspective.

The most amazing meal I've ever had...

I'm a diehard carb lover, and the traditional carbonara pasta at  gave me the Italian dining experience I'd always dreamed of. The pasta was supplemented by a circle of brand-new friends and bottomless carafes of red and white wine, which certainly added to the magic of the meal.

The morning and nighttime routines I swear by...

Morning: I like to wake up slowly with a cup of coffee and 10 to 15 minutes of meditation before I even think about getting ready. The  has become my go-to wake up and wind down during the work week.

Nighttime:

My nighttime routine doesn't start until I layer on Sunday Riley's  and  serum. From there, I try my best to resist the allure of a Netflix marathon and wind down with a book instead–I’m currently working through  by Mark Manson.

The best décor hack I've learned...

Plants, plants, and more plants—I have a bird of paradise plant, two hanging philodendrons, and a large monstera leaf in my bedroom alone. I absolutely love the color and texture they add to any space, and they won't cost you a month's rent.

My interior stylist spirit animal is...

If I could live in Tali Roth's Instagram feed, I would. French interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon runs a close second—she designed the insanely chic Balagan restaurant in Paris, in addition to a host of other stylish hotels, bars, and restaurants around the world.

The Instagram handles I follow religiously are...

@manrepeller@thecut@lucywilliams02, , @everyoutfitonsatc, @shopthebreak, @velvetcoke, @sarahbahbah.

This season, my go-to cocktail order is...

I will drink smoky mezcal margaritas with fresh-squeezed lime juice no matter what the season.

The first lesson I learned as an Adult with a capital A...

Life is and will always be a work in progress; you'll never have it all "figured out." Learn to enjoy the ride.
