The Only 8 New York Hotels Fashion Editors Will Stay At

While most look forward to New York Fashion Week to spy next season's trends, our interest in the biannual event doesn't involve the runway. As thousands of editors, models, and tastemakers flood into Manhattan, our eyes are on where they choose to stay. After all, they're influencers with impeccable style and a knack for knowing the next big thing, meaning the boutique hotels they choose as their home base during Fashion Week are hot spots to know.

This year, Public Hotel was perhaps the most popular choice in Manhattan. The Lower East Side hotel is ideally positioned a short cab ride away from many shows, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows flood the room with light, making it ideal for fittings (and the odd Instagram shot). Not all accommodations were five-star, though. Many bloggers opted for Airbnb in the West Village and Greenwich Village, while a few stayed at Freehand Hotel, an affordable option in the Flatiron District.
